We're in The Knot Best of Weddings 2009 Issue!

We do a real nice wedding here at Cupcake Royale, and the brides and grooms and their friends and family who used the Knot to plan their weddings agree! We were chosen for the second year in a row as a Best of Weddings Pick.

To see more lovely photos like the one above, and to learn more about Royale weddings, go here.

And we'd like to thank...YOU!

Thanks to everyone who voted for us in Seattle Magazine's Reader's Choice Awards for their April Best Restaurants 2009 issue! We're honored, to say the least, and proud to be in the company of our coffee roasting cohorts, Stumptown Coffee (Best Indie Coffee Shop), as well as the fine folks of Macrina Bakery (Best Bakery), who provide us with super tasty breakfast pastries each morning.

Hmm, looks like we have the best cupcakes, the best coffee, and the best pastries. How about that.

Well, we definitely have the best customers, and we want to say thanks! So, on April 1st, we're giving out FREE babycakes of the month. The first 100 people in each of our three cafés will be treated to a babycake in our super delicious April flavor - Honey Peanut Brittle. Check out the post below for the mouth-watering details on this cupcake.

So get in here in a hurry on April 1st for a free babycake - no foolin'!

Stranger writer Megan Seling would spend her last dime with us.

In case you haven't picked up this week's Stranger yet, the focus is...the economy! In this handy dandy Economic Survival Guide, the Stranger staff shares which restaurants they are continuing to spend their money at, even though their money is scarce. Megan Seling lists us as one of just three places she is continuing to frequent in these freaky money times. Her other two picks were La Isla and Pho Than Brothers. Go Ballard!

Thanks Megan! Read the whole article HERE.

Then go out and spend a little dough at your favorite neighborhood business!
